<li>Max Thunder was exclusively playable in the 16-bit version, as he did not appear in the Game Gear or Master System versions.</li>

<p>The game initially debuted on the SEGA Genesis in the US in December 1992. Developed by Sega CS, Ancient, and Shout! DW, with Akitoshi Kawano as the main programmer.</p>
